Yes — under Hindu Marriage Act Section 8, if both partners are Hindu/Sikh/Jain/Buddhist and have a religious ceremony first (Arya Samaj works perfectly), the marriage can be registered at SDM Tis Hazari the same working day. Under Special Marriage Act, a 30-day notice is mandatory — same-day not possible by law.
You need: Aadhaar Card of both partners (+2 copies each), DOB proof (10th marksheet / passport / birth certificate), 4 passport-size photographs each (white background), and 2 witnesses with their Aadhaar. If you're divorced, bring the divorce decree. Widowed — death certificate. Full list with samples.
